After many years of working in family support and consumer services I decided to attend seminary. While there, I discovered a ministry that combined my traditional home arts and crafts skills with family ministry. Sew Many Stitches allows me the opportunity to help families recycle their leftover textiles or discover creative ways to use family heirlooms as they cope with losses or celebrate family milestones. I enjoy discovering what can be made by recycling used neck ties, T-Shirts, antique linens, military uniforms and leftover clothes. It is my hope that the items created, bring you hours of joyful memories as they are used and shared in your home or place of worship. Your ideas inspire me to help develop a means of telling your family story that reflects the occasion, as well as the personality that continues to live through these one of a kind items.
